Menorca

Mediterranean Sea + North wind + Carbonated Rock = NURA

Project initiated by our winemaker, Xavier Garcia, in 2021 in Sant Lluís (Menorca). Plantation of more than three hectares of vines on soils of carbonated origin in a "canalón" that flows less than two kilometers into a well-known cove in the south of the island. An ecologically certified farm where olive oil, honey and lavender essential oils are also produced. All viticulture is ecological and manual, sulfur and copper treatments with bags and hand-selected harvest. Malvasía, Macabeo and Syrah are the three grapes with which we make the two wines Nura white wine and Nura red wine. Currently the production of the two wines is done in the Alella winery, all the grapes are transported once they have been harvested and selected. Therefore we cannot qualify our wines as Vino de la Tierra de Menorca, they are marketed as Table Wine.
